What’s Breathwork

Breathwork refers to various techniques and practices that involve conscious control and manipulation of breathing patterns for the purpose of improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It encompasses a wide range of methods, from simple deep breathing exercises to more structured techniques such as pranayama in yoga or holotropic breathwork.

The practice of breathwork often involves rhythmic breathing patterns, focusing on the inhale, exhale, and the pauses in between. By consciously altering the breath, individuals aim to reduce stress, increase relaxation, improve concentration, enhance emotional regulation, and access altered states of consciousness.

I use a style like Holotropic breathwork to support my client’s breathwork session.

Holotropic breathwork was developed by psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, it involves deep, rapid breathing in a supportive environment to access non-ordinary states of consciousness and promote self-discovery and healing.

Currently my service is free, but I welcome your generous donations which will support me in progressing in a more advanced level of Shamanic Training (level 3 & 4) which will greatly broaden my skills on healing
